I don't get it.
What's the appeal to heroin?
So many people I know die from it. One just the other day.. yet today I find out two more of my friends are using. One just started and I thought he was smarter than that. Hopefully he gets the help he speaks of, he has had his ups and downs with things. The other guy... he just needs to grow up. Really? 6 years of this shit (well, moreso coke)? I think it's time to get yourself a real hobby.

Why fuck around with shit that people you know have died from? Go smoke some fucking pot.
This just makes me real sad. Just glad that shit (or coke) isn't floating around with my main group of friends from Chicago.
On a happy note, my brother is on his way here.
This will probably be the last Christmas together as a family for awhile. My brother will be off to Austria to start his new life after new years eve. But last time I'll see him is Dec 28th since he will be going to New York for nye then flying straight to Austria from there.
Not sure how I feel. This has yet to kick in.

I'm a wonderful daughter when tempted with Barefoot wine late at night. (I ran out of my cheapo wine)
and the kitchen is very clean considering my mom and I have been baking sweeets while my dad has been gone this week for work. It has been a mess.. he keeps us in check. I hope she has a smile on her face when she wakes up.. especially since (in her mind) one of the last things I do is clean.
Little does she know...
(I'm a clean freak in my own house/apartment... which she never visited to see, thus why she doubts me.) LUCKY FOR HER I MOVED BACK IN. But, in her mind I'm still the messy kid she lived with when in highschool)
PS. MY DOGS SNORE LOUDER THAN MOST HUMANS. >:[

I made some white trash toffee and it is soooo good! Makin' some mac n cheesy for dinner right now. I was kind of productive today.. I helped my mom choose a new phone (first new phone is 7years for her! since my brother and I are brats and always steal the upgrades when they come around). She got an enV3 with a pink silicone case. Haha, she's so proud of it.
I'm getting very antsy for new years!
And summercamp! They announced a couple more artists today, including Yonder! Woo!

I need to stop watching sad movies :(
On another note, my chair from my apartment finally got moved into my bedroom and now the dogs are inlove with it all over again. I was also checking out apartments in this general area.. some 1br/1ba are only $315/mo and then I found a townhouse in Hickory (where I would love to live, such a cute area!) and it's a 2br/2ba (two stories.. 1000sq ft) for only $525/mo & it's dog friendly! So now my next goal is to get someone to move down here with me. :)
I just find it ridiculous how much more I was paying for a ONE BEDROOM apartment in the suburbs of Chicago.. and it was tiny!

YAY it's confirmed and booked! I'll be in Chicago from Dec 28th to Jan 7th!!! :]
So happy. 11days! Staying with lisa :D We're going to hit up bars downtown on NYE then go to future rock at 3am.. I believe the hotel people got has a nice view of the city as well. I'M SO FUCKIN EXCITED.
TIME TO DRINK SOME WINE TO CELEBRATE~!

my butt fell asleep.
I hope the weather is nice tomorrow. I really want to check out that 5 mile path behind the library with my dogs.
Now the real question is if I want to head up to chicago for new years eve. Otherwise I'll be spending the night alone at the local bar since my brother is going to new york. :[
But my brother is moving in soon! Just temporary while he tries to get a job over in Austria. He graduates SIUc next week.
Now time to get my life back together...

I'm making such awesome christmas cards right now. Bitches best be happy when they get 'em! Putting so much work into the snowflakes... it's not that hard, but the fact that I have 30 people to make them for is a pain. Luckily I love my friends lol. My hand hurts from writing addresses on the envelopes, but I finally know my new zipcode by heart! Good practice.
